Terra Turtles — Diving into P2E Gaming
Play to Earn (P2E) NFT gaming is going to be revolutionary. That is considered fact by the large majority of the NFT community, and right now it is severely being overlooked and is undervalued.
The result is we now have so many NFT generative art/pfp projects promising a new P2E game in development. If you look through our roadmap and whitepaper we have no mention of an NFT P2E game, and this is because we do not want to deceive our holders.
Promising to develop a game is a large task that we are confident to say more than 95% of NFT projects will fail to deliver, or deliver terribly, leaving their holders disappointed to say the least.
We have withheld from making grandiose claims and focused on our value driven roadmap. However, this does not mean we are overlooking P2E gaming as the potential value in this category is immense.
As such we are looking into several streams for Terra Turtles to enter the NFT gaming category:
- P2E integration with existing games
- Sandbox integration and building from there
- Partner with other projects to develop a playable ‘Terraverse’
- Integration of Terra Turtles as playable avatars across mulitple games (not necessarily P2E)
Sandbox and Decentraland are just the main examples of how it would be possible to integrate into NFT gaming, and whilst it may be easy to purchase land, the development aspect is still lengthy.
NFT gaming is picking up exponential momentum as time passes, so we are keeping our eyes carefully on the projects that are being released to find the right one that will work for us. We are keeping 100% transparent with all of our community as we develop, setting up a channel in our discord server for community members to chat about suggestions, news and upcoming projects.
As project creators and NFT investors ourselves, we are keeping in mind long-term sustainability and value growth as our key criteria when looking for the right partners. When we make an announcement, you know that we will deliver.
